Tommy and I met in the fall of 2013. I had played in a volleyball tournament that day with some friends and we decided to go out that evening to Bar Louie (RIP). Tommy was invited by a mutual friend on my team and we ended up sitting next to each other and chatting the whole night. We saw each other again at a birthday party the next weekend and continued to hit it off. We ended up dating for about a year and half at that point and then went separate ways, but stayed in contact over the years. We both fostered dogs at this point and there was one dog in particular that Tommy fostered and adopted out 4 times only for him to be returned to Tommy until he finally adopted him officially the fourth time around. This dog, Howie (RIP), was a (115 pound) invisible string that really tied us together until 2020 when we officially reunited and began dating again. Through lots of time together during Covid, we fell in love (again) and the rest is history!

I planned a trip to Ireland and Scotland for Tommy and I for his 40th birthday this year and he gave us even more to celebrate by asking me to be his wife on a beautiful overlook in the Aran Islands in Ireland.
